Noé CASTILLE – En

My name is Noé, I am 18 years old. I started cycling when I was 6 years old. This summer I passed my A-levels and in September I joined the ranks of the Fac en Staps sur Orsay. I am joining the team this year.

3 words to define the Cross Team Legendre :

Family, Professional, Perseverance

Quelles sont tes attentes en rejoignant le Team ?

That he brings me the pro follow-up both on the races and on the training plan, working with a trainer and pro equipment to increase my performance.

When did you start cycling? And how did you get there?

I started very young, I did my first CX season at just 6 years old as a chick 1. I came to cycling because I followed my dad on his bike when he went for a run (I was between 4 and 5 years old at the time).

Since then, I have always been followed and supported by my father.

Your best memory on the bike?

I think that when I won the last French cup race in 2019 in Bagnoles de L’Orne (Normandy), it was a circuit that was climbing on which I felt comfortable.

I had made two second places in the previous heats and I wanted to be able to climb on the highest step for the last one, it’s done!

Your favourite race?

I particularly like the French and World Championships! They are monuments.

My favourite race I would like to do is Paris-Roubaix or of course the Tour de France !

Do you have a nickname in the middle?

Usually my mates call me Nonobike, it’s my name on social networks and little by little it has spread to the world of cycling.

Any passions outside of cycling?

I love sport in general but I am lucky enough to live my passion for cycling to the fullest.

Do you have an anecdote to tell us?

When I was in Cadet 2, I broke my wrist. But I did it well because I broke it two days after the first round of the French Cup and I took off my cast 3 days before the second round. So I was able to ride almost normally.
