I was born in Haute Savoie and then I moved to the Ain. I have just obtained a Bac S and in September I joined a DUT in Thermal Engineering and Energy in Bourg-en-Bresse.
This year I am joining the Cross Team Legendre !
3 word to define Cross Team Legendre :
Dream, Good atmosphere, Professionalism
What are your expectations in joining the Team?
I think that the Team can help me to approach the races more correctly (reconnaissance, race positioning), to better identify the key points of the circuit and to learn how to manage myself better in the race (emotions…).
And of course, help and material support to perform on all the dates in the calendar.
Finally I think that I can gain even more in training and nutrition… to perform even better.
At what age did you start cycling? And how did you get there?
I started cycling competitively when I was 8 years old. I was already cycling around the house. Later, while watching the Tour De France on TV I wanted to become a pro too, so I tried my hand at competition, I was quickly bitten and I was lucky because the results followed.
Your best memory on the bike?
This is my first World Cup podium in Namur in 2019. It’s the race that I preferred and I wanted to perform there at all costs. It was a difficult course with downhill and very muddy that suited me well.
And my second place in Nomay, it was incredible to play the winner on a World Cup at home! I had won a place over Namur, I felt that the work was paying off.
Your favourite race?
As I said I particularly like Namur, it’s an incredible race with a circuit that I particularly like and that suits me the best.
I would like to ride on Paris Roubaix or the Tour of Flanders, the cobblestones are monuments that I would like to confront.
Do you have a nickname in the middle?
Not especially, not yet anyway.
Any passions outside of cycling?
I love spending time with my friends and girlfriend, but otherwise I am lucky enough to be able to live my passion for cycling to the fullest.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us?
This is my first road race, in pupil 2. I was alone in the breakaway.
As I passed the finish line I heard the bell, euphoric, I stopped thinking I had finished. It was my mother who had told me to start again, luckily I still won the race.
